Anesthesia provided a unique experience in my garden. The plants showed robust growth, and the buds are dense and resinous. The reason for my 4-star rating is that the sedative effects were slightly milder than expected. Nevertheless, it's a valuable addition for nighttime use and relaxation.

I recently gave Grease Monkey a try, and I have to say it's a solid strain. The high was relaxing and definitely had that "couch-lock" effect, which is perfect for winding down after a long day. While it's a good strain, I've had more mind-blowing experiences with others, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Arctic Sun brought a unique touch to my garden. The plants displayed impressive frostiness, and the buds have a fresh scent. The reason for my 4-star rating is that the flowering time was a bit longer than I anticipated. However, the effects are uplifting and energizing, making it worth the wait.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is It Legal to Buy and Grow Pot Seeds?
Before you buy cannabis seeds online, it is essential to tackle the proverbial elephant in the room – the legality of buying marijuana seeds. Unfortunately, the answer is more complex than people would like. A lot of that has to do with where you live and the existing laws and regulations. As such, it is critical to brush up on your area’s pertinent laws before buying your first batch of cannabis seeds.

Growing cannabis seeds in the United States

In the United States, for example, many states allow smoking weed both recreationally and for managing medical conditions. That, however, does not necessarily mean that you are allowed to cultivate marijuana in your home. Generally speaking, states can be divided into three categories:
  • States that allow consumption and home growing
  • States that allow consumption but forbid home growing
  • And states that forbid both.
But what about the shipment of weed seeds? Is it legal to buy pot seeds and get them shipped to you? Before the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, marijuana seeds were considered controlled substances. Back then, marijuana seeds could only be shipped within their place of origin. But today, the Drug Enforcement Administration or DEA recognizes pot seeds as uncontrolled substances. Specifically, cannabis products like marijuana seeds containing no more than 0.3% THC are classified as federally legal for shipment. Again, you should check with the prevailing laws in your area before buying cannabis seeds from seed banks.

Growing weeds seeds in Canada

Since 2018, the Canadian government has allowed the cultivation of pot seeds for recreational use. However, regulations can vary depending on where you live. Recreational users can cultivate a maximum amount of four marijuana plants per household. Federal laws also permit sharing 30 grams of weed with other adults of legal age. Selling is still banned unless you are duly licensed. Patients registered with Health Canada have to follow a slightly different set of rules. Registered patients can only grow a maximum number of marijuana plants based on their medical conditions. They cannot share or sell the marijuana intended for managing medical conditions. Only patients and their designated persons are allowed to handle, possess, and cultivate marijuana.

Elsewhere in the world

While many countries have followed suit in relaxing their rules on the use and cultivation of cannabis plants, many still consider it a banned substance. Before checking the available stocks from your trusted cannabis seed banks online, double-check the existing laws in your area to avoid problems later on.
The Benefits of Growing Weed Seeds
Why should you even bother buying marijuana seeds to cultivate in your home when you can buy pot from the local dispensary? People are drawn to cannabis cultivation for a variety of reasons. But whatever your reasons for starting your cannabis garden, you are likely to enjoy the following benefits.

1. Readily available supply

One of the chief advantages of growing your own plants from marijuana seeds is that you won’t run out of supplies. This is particularly beneficial for patients who rely on marijuana to manage their health conditions. If you rely solely on dispensaries, there is a chance that you’ll forget to replenish your supply or that the specific strain you use is unavailable. And depending on where you live and buy your cannabis, the quality of the cannabis you buy may leave you wanting more. When you have your own marijuana garden or grow room, running out of cannabis will be a thing of the past.

2. Lower costs

Like any hobby or endeavor, growing pot seeds into fully mature plants will require a sizable upfront cost. But you’ll recover your initial investment and save more money over the long term. Even if your utility bills go a bit higher, your overall savings will still be substantial. But how much do you really need to spend? That depends on where you want to grow your cannabis seeds, indoors or outdoors.

Indoor grow room costs

An indoor garden can set you back anywhere between $500 to $900. The supplies included in this budget include
  • Lights
  • Pots
  • Fertilizers
  • Substrate
  • Carbon filter
  • And quality cannabis seeds.

Outdoor cannabis garden cost

If you plan to grow your weed seeds outdoors, you’ll have to earmark around $300. That cost is more than enough to cover supplies like
  • Fertilizers
  • Pots
  • Substrate
  • And quality cannabis seeds.
But despite the lower initial costs of outdoor gardening, be aware that you’ll have to pay more attention to your crops as they are exposed to the elements and various pests.

3. Better quality cannabis

A lot can happen to marijuana before you can consume it. From the cultivators down to shipping, several factors can lower the quality of cannabis even before they reach users and patients. These risks are minimized or even eliminated when you grow your own plants from cannabis seeds. But why does quality matter? Issues like the presence of molds can drastically reduce the pleasure of smoking marijuana. Even worse, the presence of pathogens like molds can adversely affect the health of people who are currently dealing with diseases and medical conditions.

4. An exciting new hobby

Part and parcel of enjoying a new hobby is the process. Sure, it’s great that you have access to your own supply of marijuana. But more than that, you’ll learn a lot of fascinating stuff, from the basics of botany to the history of popular marijuana strains. And then there’s the satisfaction of watching your marijuana seeds mature and produce flowers. There’s a certain pride that comes along with producing stuff by yourself. Of course, there’s a learning curve associated with cultivating marijuana. But it isn’t as steep as some people may believe. In fact, there’s no better time to buy weed seeds and grow them than now. You have plenty of resources readily available. You can purchase various equipment at great deals. Perhaps, most importantly, there are thousands of new strains to choose from, whether you are eyeing to cultivate feminized cannabis seeds, autoflowering cannabis seeds, or even photoperiod marijuana.

5. Experimentation

Before the legalization of marijuana, patients and recreational users had limited choices in terms of marijuana strains they could smoke. But the legalization of marijuana opened the proverbial floodgates for the emergence of new weed strains. Of course, when you are just starting out with the cultivation of marijuana seeds, it is best to stick with the strains that you know and love. But once you gain more experience cultivating pot seeds, you may want to venture farther and dabble in creating new strains. Or it can be as simple as consuming weed in a different way, like edibles and oils.

6. Career and business opportunities

The cannabis industry is still in its infancy stage. That means that there is still more room for growth. Along with such a tremendous space for growth come opportunities for both work and business. Once you master the basics of cultivating weed seeds and acquire more skills, you might find yourself thinking about ways to use your knowledge and skills and capitalize on your hobby to earn money. Cannabis, being a nascent industry, is projected to become a multi-billion dollar juggernaut. And with your expertise, you’ll be in a good position, whether you want to start your own venture or work for somebody else.
How to Buy Marijuana Seeds?
If you plan on cultivating marijuana, the first order of business is to buy marijuana seeds from reputable sellers. Think of pot seeds as the foundation for your weed farm. Start right, and you can avoid many of the pitfalls newbies encounter when they start cultivating marijuana. Choose bad cannabis seeds, and you’ll set back your progress.

Where should you buy cannabis seeds from?

In the past, you could only buy marijuana seeds from backyard breeders and cannabis seeds sellers from European countries where the use and cultivation of weed are legal. Along with the legalization of weed in various parts of the globe came the expansion of choices for all types of marijuana users. For one, you can buy pot seeds of different strains, depending on your needs and preferences. This also means you can buy cannabis seeds from various sources. As previously mentioned, you can buy your marijuana seeds directly from people. But that comes with a few downsides. For one, your choice of strains for cannabis seeds is limited. Second, you are not assured of the quality of the cannabis seeds you purchase. And, of course, there might be a few legal issues involved, depending on where you live. Some dispensaries sell cannabis seeds. But be aware that the type of weed seeds they sell might be limited, primarily because they focus on selling flowers and edibles. There are also dispensaries that only sell cannabis seeds as souvenirs. If you intend to buy weed seeds, your best bet is to buy from a trusted online seed bank like The Seed Pharm. Here at The Seed Pharm, we do our best to make buying cannabis seeds a seamless experience for our customers. Whether you are looking for feminized cannabis seeds or autoflowering cannabis seeds, you can check our extensive catalog. Need help finding something? Our support team members are ready to provide you with the necessary information you need via email or chat.

Which Cannabis Seeds Should You Buy?
Contrary to what some people might believe, cultivating your own cannabis isn’t that difficult. However, you have to pay attention to a few key aspects. One of which is choosing the right weed seeds. Before you buy cannabis seeds online, it is critical to know and understand a few things. These pointers will help you avoid a few problems along the way.

1. Start with what you know and like

Growing plants from marijuana seeds take time, effort, and a great deal of patience. That said, it is a good idea to choose cannabis seeds of strains you already know and like. Once you get the hang of cultivating marijuana, you might want to venture a little farther and try different marijuana seeds that will provide you with new challenges.

2. Your experience level

Some cannabis strains are easier to grow and cultivate compared to others. Although growing marijuana is no rocket science, it is helpful to consider the amount of work and effort it takes to care for the cannabis seeds you are eyeing to buy. If you have little to zero experience cultivating marijuana, you might want to start off with cannabis seeds that are easier to care for, like autoflowering cannabis seeds or even feminized seeds. After gaining some experience as a marijuana cultivator, you can check your trusted seed bank for more challenging strains to cultivate.

3. Growth requirements

All types of marijuana seeds share a few growth requirements like light, nutrients, and substrate. However, these requirements may vary from one strain to another. Taking these into account can help prevent potential problems and save you from the heartbreak of losing crops. One thing you need to consider when growing marijuana is the climate in the area where you live. If you live in an area with a warm and humid climate, you should strongly consider buying Indica marijuana seeds. It is also critical to know how tall your marijuana seeds will grow. For example, Amnesia Haze autoflower cannabis seeds are perfect for outdoor gardening because they can grow tall. Cannabis seeds like the OG Kush feminized seeds are more delicate than other marijuana seeds and fare better if cultivated indoors.

4. Adequate planning

Another important thing that you need to do before you buy cannabis seeds is to plan your garden or grow space accordingly. If you have limited space in your indoor grow room, you might want to narrow your search to Indica weed seeds or autoflower cannabis seeds. Be aware that the soil, nutrient, and light requirements of cannabis seeds will differ from one strain to another. Some may need more than others. Finally, make sure that you save some room for movement in your garden or grow space. You will need the space to repot your plants and store supplies and equipment.
How Many Seeds Should You Buy?
If you are growing marijuana for the first time, one of the questions that you might be thinking about is how many seeds you should buy. One important thing that you should know from the start is that some of the cannabis seeds that you’ll buy won’t germinate. This is true even if you buy marijuana seeds from the best cannabis seed banks. When you buy cannabis seeds online, seed banks won’t offer you a full germination guarantee. If you are cultivating regular cannabis seeds, you will also need to factor in the fact that some of these will turn out to be male plants. You’ll have to discard these later on to prevent the pollination of your female plants. Unlike regular cannabis seeds, feminized seeds grow into females, eliminating the time-consuming task of sexing your marijuana plants. Even better, you’ll get more cannabis plants even if a few don’t germinate. If you are new to marijuana cultivation, buying about 10 marijuana seeds is best. Even if there are a few cannabis seeds that don’t germinate, you’ll still have enough to start your garden. It is worth mentioning that you should check your local laws regarding how many marijuana plants you can keep.
Understanding the Differences Between Marijuana Seeds
When you start browsing through the offerings of different online cannabis seed banks, you will encounter different terms like feminized weed seeds, autoflower cannabis seeds, and regular pot seeds. If you are interested in growing marijuana and you have little experience, it is best to understand the key differences among these three main types of weed seeds.

1. Regular seeds

Seasoned breeders prefer regular seeds because most of these aren’t inbred. When you buy regular seeds, be aware that there’s a 50% chance that they’ll mature either as male or female plants. Once your cannabis seeds begin to mature and enter the preflower stage, you will need to sex your plants, eventually discarding the males to prevent pollination.

2. Feminized seeds

Feminized seeds are ideal for new hobbyists or cultivators who wish to use their resources efficiently. When you buy feminized seeds, you are guaranteed that they’ll all grow into female plants. That means that you’ll get marijuana plants that flower. Plus, you do not have to spend your time and effort determining the sex of your crops.

3. Autoflower marijuana seeds

Autoflower cannabis seeds refer to marijuana seeds that produce buds without depending on the light cycle. Even better, these marijuana seeds mature faster than regular and feminized seeds. It can take anywhere between two to three months after germination to harvest flowers from these plants. These qualities make autoflower cannabis seeds popular among newbies. But be aware that autoflower weed seeds produce smaller yields.
Indica Vs. Sativa Vs. Hybrids
The terms Sativa, Indica, and hybrid refer to cannabis strains. Due to different factors like breeding, these terms no longer hold too much meaning in terms of botany. But how exactly do Sativa, Indica, and hybrid cannabis seeds differ?

1. Indica weed seeds

Indica cannabis seeds originate from Central Asian countries like Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan. These strains are known for their calming and relaxing effect when smoked. Indica strains are typically consumed during the evenings because they contain terpenes like Myrcene and Limonene, which have sedative effects.

2. Sativa cannabis seeds

Patients and recreational users consume Sativa weed seeds during the day because these strains significantly boost energy, mood, and concentration. Sativa strains can be distinguished from the other strains by their floral and fruity notes.

3. Hybrid pot seeds

Hybrids refer to cannabis seeds that result from the combination of different genes from Indica and Sativa strains. There are even some cannabis seeds that were developed by mixing the genes of the Cannabis ruderalis, a close cousin of both the Indica and Sativa cannabis plants. The effects of hybrids will differ, depending largely on the dominant strain. If the hybrid has a more Sativa-dominant genetic composition, you can expect it to help improve your mood and energy. Hybrid strains can also help manage the symptoms of inflammation. On the other hand, hybrid strains that have more of the Indica genes produce relaxing and sedative effects.

Buying the right cannabis seeds strain

When it comes to choosing which marijuana seeds to buy, you should also consider the effects you are after. For example, buy weed seeds from the Sativa family if you prefer smoking cannabis to boost mood and concentration. On the other hand, Indica strains are ideal for patients and recreational users who smoke in the evening as part of their relaxation routine. Hybrids offer a good balance between the Indica and Sativa strains.
Seed Germination and Replacement Policy
At The Seed Pharm, we strive to provide high-quality seeds to our valued customers. We understand that successful germination is crucial for a positive growing experience. To ensure customer satisfaction, we have developed the following seed germination and replacement policy:

Seed Germination Process

Follow the provided germination guide for best results: Step 1: Pour some spring water or distilled water into a bowl. Take four sheets of paper towel and soak them in the bowl of water. You will need two sheets to produce a top and a bottom. Step 2: Place the first two soaked sheets folded together and wring out excess water before placing the paper towel on a plate. Step 3: Place your seeds on the wet paper towel that is on the plate. Space the seeds apart with tweezers, about an inch apart. Step 4: Cover your seeds with another soaked paper towel that has been wrung out to eliminate excess water. You will have a plate on the bottom, the first set of paper towels on the plate, seeds on the paper towel, and now cover the seeds with the new wet paper towel. Step 5: Take another plate and cover everything so that you have a plate on the bottom and one on the top. Step 6: Place your plates with the seeds inside, and the paper towels somewhere dry and warm. Make sure it is dark as well. The temperature should be about 21°C or 70°F. Leave it like this for 1 to 8 days. Some strains can take up to 2 weeks to show a tap root, so be patient as it does take time. Check the seeds daily and make sure the paper towel does not dry out. You may spray more water onto them to keep them moist. Step 7: When you see a tap root, you are ready to plant. Ensure that you plant 5 mm below the surface when planting.

Seed Replacement Guarantee

  • To qualify for our seed replacement guarantee, customers must follow the germination process described above.
  • Customers are required to document each step of the process with photographs, as this documentation is necessary to validate the guarantee.
  • We guarantee a minimum germination rate of 90% for all our seeds.

Validating the Seed Replacement

  • In the event that the seeds fail to germinate despite following the prescribed process, customers can request a replacement.
  • Customers must contact our customer support team within 5 days of the failed germination attempt to initiate the replacement process.
  • The customer support team will guide customers through the necessary steps to verify the unsuccessful germination and initiate the replacement.
  • Please note that the order date must not be older than 3 months, as seeds are considered perishable items.
Please note the following important considerations:
  • Our seed replacement policy only applies to seeds that have been properly germinated following our germination guide.
  • The replacement policy does not cover seeds that have been damaged or mishandled after the germination process.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the appropriate growing conditions, including temperature, light, moisture, and nutrients, for the germinated seeds.
  Happy growing!
