Where the berry comes from
Blueberry is one of the older hybrids still grown from seed. An Afghani indica was crossed with a Thai cross of Highland Thai and Purple Thai, and the line was worked for flavour rather than size. The Afghani side gave it a short, thick-stemmed frame and a good resin coat; the Thai side gave it the fruit.
That fruit travelled. Blue Dream, Blueberry Kush and Blue Haze all have Blueberry as a parent, which is why so many of them share the same sweet, jammy nose.
Aroma and colour
The smell is the reason to grow it. Break open a cured bud and you get ripe blueberry and berry sugar, with a faint earthiness underneath that keeps it from smelling artificial. The sweetness holds through a long cure instead of fading after a few weeks in the jar.
Colour depends on the room. Let night temperatures drop a few degrees below the day in the last weeks of flower and the calyxes and sugar leaves turn blue to violet. In a warm tent they stay green, and the berry smell is just as strong.

How to grow Blueberry
As a feminized photoperiod, Blueberry stays in veg under 18 hours of light and starts to flower when you switch to 12/12. It stretches a little after the switch, so flip slightly earlier than you would a pure indica, or top it once in veg and spread the branches to keep the canopy level.
Plan on 8 to 9 weeks of bloom. The Afghani side packs the buds tightly, so thin the interior leaves before the flip and keep air moving through the middle of the plant. It is a fussy feeder: go light on nutrients and raise them slowly.
Outdoors it does best somewhere sheltered from autumn rain, like a greenhouse or a south-facing wall, because dense buds and wet weather invite mould.

Harder to germinate the seeds, but I guess this is a regular strain so its kinda expected, or at least the rumors are now true. Love the strain, but wish they’d make an auto flowering or fem version. Overall positive experience with this company, only advice if youre ordering a reg seed strain, order more than u need cause all the seeds wont germinate.
