How a stray seed became a classic
Gorilla Glue began as a chance seed in a garden of Chem's Sister and Sour Dubb, with Chocolate Diesel also in the cross. The keeper cut was named for its resin: trimmers found their scissors glued shut. The smell is pungent and layered, diesel and pine first, then earth, a sour note and a dark chocolate undertone in the cured jar.
Regular seeds from a famous cut
This line is regular, which is unusual for Gorilla Glue and useful for anyone who wants to work with it. A pack produces male and female plants. Grow them out, keep the females that carry the resin and the diesel nose, and you have mothers worth cloning. Keep a vigorous male and you have a breeding partner known for passing on resin.
One trait to watch: the line descends from a plant that pollinated itself, so check the females for stray male flowers, the small yellow bananas, from mid flower onward, especially after a light leak or a heat spike.

How to grow Gorilla Glue
Start a few more seeds than you need. Veg under 18 hours of light and watch the nodes: males show small pollen sacs, females show white pistils. Pull the males before the sacs open, unless you are making seeds, then flip the females to 12/12.
The plants are an even indica and sativa split, with sturdy branches and a moderate stretch. Top them and spread them under a screen. The flowers are dense and sticky, so keep humidity low late in bloom. A dry, sunny outdoor spot can give up to 600 g per plant.
