So after harvest and curing this bud is choice. Grew two plants and the buds were so different. One had light blueish green buds that were plump with a fruity taste and smell. The other had buds that were real dark green with a hint of blue with bright red hairs. Completely caked with resin. The longer they cure the better they smell and taste. This is my new go to bud.

White Runtz Feminized Seeds
White Runtz crosses Gelato with Zkittlez, and it is named for the frost: buds so heavily coated in trichomes they look white. The nose is candy, sour grape and tangy citrus, the Runtz signature. Feminized photoperiod seeds, an even 50/50 hybrid, with 8 to 9 weeks of bloom and about 550 g per plant outdoors.
- Frost. A trichome coat heavy enough to look white
- Candy nose. Sour grape, citrus and sugar
- Tall. Past 150 cm on the label, so train it

Gelato and Zkittlez
Runtz is the Gelato x Zkittlez cross that became one of the most requested candy strains, and White Runtz is the phenotype kept for its white trichome coat. Gelato brings the creamy sweetness and the dense bud structure; Zkittlez brings the fruit-candy nose. The plant sits at an even 50% indica, 50% sativa.
Aroma
Sweet candy first, then sour grape and a tangy citrus note like lemonade. Zkittlez gives most plants a sharper, sour fruit edge, and Gelato rounds it out with something creamier. The smell is strong from mid-flower and holds well through a slow cure.

How to grow White Runtz
The label puts it past 150 cm, which surprises growers who expect a compact dessert strain. Flip to 12/12 earlier than you would a pure indica, and use low-stress training or a SCROG net so the canopy stays flat. Topping once in veg helps.
Bloom lasts 8 to 9 weeks. Candy crosses can be fussy about feeding, so keep nutrients moderate and pH steady. Grown outdoors, it gives about 550 g per plant on the label.
Handle the harvest gently. Dense, frosty buds bruise and shed trichomes if they are knocked around, so trim carefully and dry them hanging.

Where does the white in the name come from?
From the frost. It is the Runtz phenotype with the heaviest trichome coat, thick enough to make the buds look white.
Does White Runtz stay compact?
No. The label puts it past 150 cm, so train it or flip early.
