Two classics with one job: weight
Critical Mass is an Afghani and Skunk #1 line bred for sheer bud mass, and its colas are known for snapping the branches that hold them. White Widow brings a thick trichome coat and a little more structure. Critical Widow takes the size of one and the frost of the other.
The aroma is sweet and earthy with a citrus edge, plus the skunky depth both parents share, and it gets loud in the last third of flower.
Heavy flowers need support and dry air
This is the part to plan for. The colas swell fast late in bloom, and the branches carrying them often cannot hold the weight without help. Set a trellis net or stakes before the flip and raise them as the plant stretches.
Big, dense flowers are also where grey mould starts. Keep humidity low from the middle of flower onward, strip the fan leaves that block airflow through the centre and space the plants so the canopy does not close. Indoors this is easy to manage; outdoors in a wet autumn it decides the harvest, and a greenhouse is the safer choice on the coast.

How to grow Critical Widow
Veg under 18 hours of light, then switch to 12/12. A short veg is enough in a tent, since the plant fills out quickly once flowers start. Feed generously through mid flower, when the colas are bulking, then taper toward the end.
Check the inside of the biggest colas before harvest. If a bud browns from the centre, cut it out at once and lower the humidity. A clean outdoor plant in a dry, sunny spot can give around 500 g per plant.
