Chronic Widow comes from two lines that growers kept for practical reasons. Chronic was bred for big, dense harvests, and White Widow for its heavy coat of white resin. Put together, they make an indica-dominant plant, with THC listed at 23%.
Chronic Widow comes as feminized seed for a photoperiod grow, holding in veg until the light drops to 12/12.
A plant built around one big cola
Chronic Widow tends to grow a thick central stem with a long main cola, backed by shorter side branches. Left untrained it looks like a Christmas tree with a club on top. That cola gets very heavy late in flower, and it is also where moisture collects, so the plant needs a little management in the last weeks.
The smell is sweet and earthy, with a honeyed note and some spice that comes forward after curing. The White Widow side frosts the sugar leaves early in flower.

How to grow Chronic Widow
You can grow it two ways. Leave the main stem and let it build the big cola, staking it before the buds fill out. Or top it once in veg and train four to eight even tops, which spreads the weight and the airflow. The second way is safer in a humid room.
The label lists medium height, 100-150 cm, and 8-10 weeks of flowering. Feed well through mid-flower; this is a hungry plant compared to a sativa. Watch humidity closely in the final fortnight and check inside the main cola before harvest.
In a full, sunny season outdoors, expect up to 700 g from a single plant.
