From Ohio, by way of two classics
Death Star came out of Ohio, put together from Sour Diesel and Sensi Star. The Sensi Star side shapes the plant: short, stocky and indica-built at about 75% indica, with tight internodes and buds that stack along the stems. Sour Diesel shows up in the smell.
The smell problem
This is one of the loudest plants you can put in a tent. Expect diesel and skunk over a sour citrus note, strong enough in late flower to carry through a house without a carbon filter. The buds often pick up purple hues when the nights run cool, and the trichome coverage turns the sugar leaves white.

How to grow Death Star
It is a feminized photoperiod and an easy one. Veg under 18 hours of light, switch to 12/12 and plan on 8 to 9 weeks of bloom. Short plants make it a good fit for a small tent, a closet grow or a sea of green with several plants flipped young.
The buds are dense, so strip the weak lower growth before the flip and keep humidity down in the last weeks. Indoors the label gives about 400 g/m2. Outdoors it stays compact, which helps keep it discreet, and gives around 350 g per plant.
If you grow it near neighbours, the smell is the real limit, not the plant. Pick a spot with distance and airflow, or keep it indoors with the filter running from the first week of bloom.

Does Death Star stretch after the flip?
Only a little. It stays a short plant, 60 to 100 cm on the label, so most of its size is set during veg.
How strong is the smell?
Very strong. Diesel, skunk and citrus from the Sour Diesel side. Use a carbon filter indoors and pick a discreet spot outdoors.
Is Death Star hard to grow?
No. The label rates it easy. The real work is controlling the smell and keeping the dense buds dry.
