Blueberry is one of the oldest fruit-named strains still grown, and most of the berry strains that came after it trace back here. It pairs Afghani, a short, resinous indica, with Thai sativa genetics including Purple Thai. The Afghani side sets the plant's shape, and the Thai side brings the fruit and the colour.
The smell that named it
Ripe Blueberry smells of crushed blueberries and vanilla, strong enough to fill a room, with a skunky edge at the back. The scent holds through the cure better than most fruit strains. On cool late-season nights the calyxes and sugar leaves can turn blue and purple.

How to grow Blueberry
Blueberry feminized seeds grow a photoperiod plant of medium height, 100 to 150 cm on the strain label. It grows bushy, with tight internodes and plenty of side branches, so it fills a tent without much stretch after the flip to 12/12.
Blueberry is sensitive to overfeeding. Use a moderate nutrient strength and let the leaves tell you if it wants more. Thin the inner growth before flowering, because the side branches crowd each other and the buds are dense.
For colour, let the night temperature fall near the end of its 8 to 10 weeks of flowering. Outdoors in a sunny spot a plant can reach up to 600 g, and its indica finish makes it one of the better photoperiods for an early fall harvest.
