100% success rate with these seeds, and a great strain! I tried some seeds from another distributor, and they were all duds. Had a few of these left over, from a few years ago and they grew long tap roots in one day! Very happy with the quality of seeds at the seed pharm.

Strawberry, diesel and OG
Strawberry Diesel gives Bruce Banner its sweet top note, ripe strawberry with a fuel finish. OG Kush adds pine, lemon and the earthy kush base. In the room it reads sweet and floral at first, then turns gassy when the flowers are squeezed, a bigger smell than the soft first impression suggests.
The name is a joke on that contrast: a sweet-smelling, unassuming plant hiding a big number. The label lists 29% THC for this feminized version.
A big plant that pays back space
Bruce Banner grows tall, past 150 cm, with long lateral branches and dense, bright green flowers. It is one of the heavier yielders in the catalogue outdoors, around 900 g per plant on the label, but only when it has the root room and the season to build that frame.
Indoors, the size needs managing. Top it two or three times in veg, spread the tops under a screen and supercrop anything that runs ahead. The branches carry heavy colas late in flower, so add support before the weight arrives rather than after a stem has bent.

How to grow Bruce Banner
Start in well-drained soil or a light coco mix; the plant drinks a lot in flower and dislikes a pot that stays wet. Veg under 18 hours of light until the canopy reaches about half the height you can allow, then switch to 12/12. Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks.
Outdoors, give it full sun and a large bed or a big container. It finishes in early October in southern Canada. Thin the inner branches in August so the dense flowers dry quickly after rain.
