Grease Gun Autoflower Seeds
The gassiest autoflower Atlas Seed makes. It takes a little longer than most autos, and the plants come out close to identical.
- Fuel first. Atlas calls it the gassiest auto they have, or know of
- Even plants. The breeder says the consistency is close to table top, so one canopy height suits them all
- Worth the wait. Slower to mature than the rest of the Atlas autos, with the resin to show for it
Shipping is $10, free over $99. Orders over $100 get 10 free seeds, and orders over $200 get 20. Every pack is covered by our 90% germination guarantee. Charged in USD.

Why growers pick Grease Gun Auto
Most autoflowers lean sweet. Fruit, candy, cake. Grease Gun goes the other way. Atlas Seed describes it as the gassiest auto they have available, or know of, and files it with their OG, Chem and Kush lines.
It smells like fuel
If your jars are full of dessert strains, this is the one that is missing. The nose is petrol, and it is loud well before harvest. Plan for it.
The plants match
Atlas describes the consistency as close to table top. In a tent that matters more than it sounds. When every plant finishes at about the same height, one light height works for all of them, and none of them gets shaded out by a tall neighbour.
It yields
Atlas lists Grease Gun among its high-yielding strains and describes the yields as excellent. The trade is time. It is slower to mature than the rest of their autoflowers.

Will it finish where you live?
It will, but it needs more of the season than a quick auto.
The Prairies
Make it your first run of the year. Get it out as soon as the frost risk has passed, and do not count on a second run behind it.
Prairie guideBC coast
A slower finish means more time in the fall damp. Atlas does not list Grease Gun as mold resistant. If rot has cost you a crop before, Gummy Bear Auto is the safer pick outdoors.
Gummy Bear AutoSouthern Ontario and indoors
No issue. Indoors the extra time costs you nothing but patience.
How to grow Grease Gun Auto
Give it the full run
The common mistake with a slower auto is cutting it on the calendar. Go by the plant. Wait until the trichomes have turned cloudy, with the first amber showing, before you chop. Atlas is direct about it: the nose and the trichomes are worth the wait.
Start in the final pot
Like every autoflower, it starts flowering on age. Sow it 6 to 13 mm deep in the pot it will finish in, so it never loses days to a transplant.
Use the even canopy
Because the plants match, you can set them close and run them at one height. Keep the lights on 18 hours a day from seed to harvest. There is no switch to 12/12.
Deal with the smell early
A carbon filter is not optional with this one indoors. Fit it before the plants start to flower, not after the neighbours notice.
Expect sticky scissors
Atlas singles out the trichomes. Heavy resin gums up trimming scissors, so keep rubbing alcohol on hand and clean them as you go.

From $55Grease Gun Auto questions
Is Grease Gun really the gassiest autoflower?
That is the breeder's claim. Atlas Seed calls it the gassiest auto they have available, or know of.
How long does Grease Gun Auto take?
Longer than most autoflowers. Atlas says it is slower to mature than the rest of their autos.
Is it harder to grow than other autos?
No. The plants are very even, which makes a tent easier to run. It only asks for more time.
Does it need a carbon filter?
Indoors, yes. The fuel smell is strong well before harvest.
