The East Coast diesel, as an auto
Sour Diesel came out of the New York area in the early nineties and became the reference point for fuel-scented cannabis. Chemdawg 91 supplies the diesel and the sour edge; Super Skunk adds sweetness, vigour and a skunky base. The autoflower version adds ruderalis genetics, so the plant starts flowering on age rather than waiting for longer nights.
The smell is the main event: sharp gasoline, sour lemon peel and skunk, loud from mid flower onward. A carbon filter is essential indoors.
A sativa-shaped autoflower
Most autos stay squat. This one keeps the sativa-dominant habit of its parents, with longer internodes, narrower leaves and more stretch once flowers start. That makes it easier to train than a dense indica auto, and it fills a tent well when bent early.

How to grow Sour Diesel Auto
Plant directly into the final pot and keep the light on 18 to 20 hours a day for the whole run. Start low-stress training as soon as the plant has a few nodes, pulling the main stem over so the side branches rise to meet it, and stop bending once the first pistils appear.
Feed lightly in the first weeks and increase as flowering starts. Sativa-leaning autos drink more in late flower than you might expect, so check the weight of the pot daily.
Outdoors, sow after the last frost. The plant finishes in summer, ahead of the autumn rain, and in a sunny spot the label puts the yield at up to 700 g per plant.
