Thin Mint and Grape Pie
Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies gives Lava Cake the mint, the chocolate and the tight, frosty Cookies bud. Grape Pie brings grape, a sweet pastry note and the colour. The cross leans indica at 70%, with broad leaves, short internodes and buds that darken toward purple as harvest approaches.
Aroma
Vanilla is the base. Over it sit chocolate and mint, with grape and a little pine and nut in the background. The mint gets sharper when a cured bud is broken open.

How to grow Lava Cake
Cookies crosses are not the fastest in veg, so give Lava Cake time to build branches before the switch to 12/12. Top it once and open up the middle; the buds are dense and need light and air on all sides.
The label gives anywhere from 200 to 500 g per plant outdoors, and where you land in that range depends mostly on veg time, root space and sun. A short veg in a small pot gives the low end.
For the darkest colour, let nights run cooler than days in the last weeks, and keep humidity low at the same time so the tight buds stay clean.

From $39Lava Cake questions
Is there really chocolate in the smell?
Many plants show it, alongside vanilla and mint from the Thin Mint side. Grape Pie adds the grape.
Why is the yield range so wide?
The label gives 200 to 500 g per plant outdoors. Veg time, pot size and sun decide where you land.
Does Lava Cake turn purple?
Often, late in flower and especially with cool nights. The colour comes mostly from Grape Pie.
