Purple Punch is a dessert strain with two well-known parents. Larry OG brings the citrus top note and a firm OG bud, and Granddaddy Purple brings the grape, the berry and the colour. Grown from Purple Punch autoflower seeds, the plant flowers by age, which takes the light schedule out of the equation.
Grape, berry and orange
The aroma reads like a fruit punch: sweet grape and berry first, with orange citrus over the top. Once the buds are cured the grape gets deeper and the citrus fades a little.
Getting the colour
The purple comes from the Granddaddy Purple side and shows best when nights run cool near harvest. Indoors, a lower lights-off temperature over the final fortnight helps. Outdoors in Canada, a crop that finishes as the late-summer nights cool off often colours by itself.

How to grow Purple Punch Auto
Start it in the final pot and keep it warm early. It likes steady warmth in its first weeks, so a tent or a heated greenhouse suits most Canadian growers. Feed lightly at first and build up as flowers form.
Use low-stress training instead of topping. The buds are dense, so give the plant airflow late in flower. Outdoors a vigorous plant returns about 450 g.
