Afghan stock, kept close to the source
Alien Technology traces back to Afghanistan, and it grows like the hash plants of that region: broad, dark-green leaflets, thick stems and flowers that load up with resin early in bloom. The aroma is spice, incense and earth, closer to pressed hash than to candy or fruit.
The label lists it as 100% indica. That shows in the leaf and the resin, but not in the height: given room and time in veg, it grows past 150 cm, so plan the space accordingly.

Regular seeds give a natural mix of male and female plants. If you only want a harvest, that means sexing the plants and removing males before they release pollen. If you breed, it is the point. How to grow Alien Technology
Germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want, since about half will be male. Veg under 18 hours of light; once the plants show pre-flowers at the nodes, separate the males, then switch the females to 12/12 for 8 to 10 weeks of flowering.
Dense Afghan flowers are prone to grey mould in damp air, so keep humidity low in late flower and avoid wetting the canopy outdoors. In a dry, sunny spot the label puts the outdoor yield at up to 800 g per plant.
