So after harvest and curing this bud is choice. Grew two plants and the buds were so different. One had light blueish green buds that were plump with a fruity taste and smell. The other had buds that were real dark green with a hint of blue with bright red hairs. Completely caked with resin. The longer they cure the better they smell and taste. This is my new go to bud.

Kush XL draws on two of the best-known kush lines, Hindu Kush and OG Kush, with ruderalis in the cross as well. The result stays between 60 and 100 cm and puts most of its effort into a fat central cola and a ring of short side branches. Kush XL is an autoflower: the ruderalis in its cross makes it start flowering on its own, with no change to the light schedule. The seeds are also feminized, so you get female plants and are not pulling males.
The kush in it
Hindu Kush comes from the mountains along the Afghan and Pakistani border, where plants grew short and resinous to survive cold nights. OG Kush adds a denser, more modern bud and a sharper edge to the nose. In Kush XL the jar reads earthy and sweet, with a hash-like depth when you break a bud open.

How to grow Kush XL
The label rates it easy, and the short frame does most of the work for you. A single tent with a modest light is enough. Give it a well-draining mix and go easy on feeding early, because kush lines show nutrient burn on the leaf tips quickly.
Training is optional. A few ties to pull the side branches level with the main cola will even out the canopy. The leaves are broad, so clear some of the inner fan leaves in mid-flower to let air through the buds.
Expect 300 to 400 g/m2 indoors. Outdoors, a plant in full sun returns about 200 to 300 g, and its small size makes it easy to keep out of sight.
