From Indiana to a ruderalis cross
Bubble Gum began as a sweet-smelling hybrid kept by growers in Indiana before it travelled to the Netherlands and became one of the best-known candy-scented lines in Europe. This version crosses it with ruderalis, the hardy wild cannabis that gives autoflowers their age-based switch into bloom. The label lists the mix as half sativa, 40% indica and 10% ruderalis.
The scent is the reason to grow it. Rub a stem in mid flower and it smells of pink bubble gum and sweet flowers, and the label sums the flavour up as floral and sweet. It is gentle next to fuel or skunk strains, though a carbon filter still earns its place in an apartment.
Why it suits a first grow
The label rates it easy, and the plant earns that. It forgives a missed feed or a small pH slip and finishes well without topping or a trellis. At 15% THC it is moderate by current standards, which matters less to most growers here than a reliable finish and a sweet jar.

How to grow Bubble Gum Auto
Sow the seed straight into the pot it will finish in; an autoflower has no spare weeks to recover from transplant shock. Keep the lights on 18 to 20 hours a day from start to finish. There is no switch to 12/12, because the plant moves into flower by itself after a few weeks of growth.
Feed lightly. Autos are smaller than photoperiod plants and burn easily, so start at half the bottle dose and raise it only if the lower leaves pale. To shape it, bend the main stem sideways early rather than topping it.
Outdoors in Canada, put it out after the last frost. A late-May start finishes in summer, well before the autumn rain, and a second plant sown a few weeks later can still finish in the warmer provinces. Expect 200 to 300 g per plant outdoors and 300 to 400 g/m2 under lights.

From $39Bubble Gum Auto questions
Is Bubble Gum Auto feminized?
Yes. It is a feminized autoflower, so every plant should be female and flower on its own.
How long does Bubble Gum Auto flower?
The label gives it 55 to 65 days of flowering time.
Can I grow it outdoors in a short Canadian summer?
Yes, where your province allows it. Because it does not wait for shorter days, a plant set out after the last frost finishes in summer.
