Italian Ice comes from two dessert lines. Gelato 45 brings the creamy sweetness and the dense, frosty bud. Forbidden Fruit, itself from Cherry Pie and Tangie, brings the dark fruit and the citrus. The result is a plant whose aroma has layers: berry first, then tropical fruit, then a musky citrus undertone.
A longer flower
At 10 to 11 weeks of flowering on the strain label, Italian Ice takes longer than most dessert strains. Indoors that only means patience. Outdoors in Canada it changes the plan.

How to grow Italian Ice
The strain label puts it at a medium 100 to 150 cm. Top it in veg and build an even canopy before the flip to 12/12. The buds get dense and sticky, so keep humidity low in the final weeks; a long flower gives mould more time to start in a humid room.
Outdoors in a long season, a plant can give 500 to 700 g.
