Blue Fruit comes from the Blueberry family, one of the classic lines of the last few decades. The strain label lists its background as Blueberry, itself built from Mexican Purple, Thai and Afghani, and the split as 80% indica and 20% sativa. THC is listed at 18%.
The seeds are feminized and grow as photoperiod plants. They stay in veg until you shorten the light to 12/12.
A soft, sweet smell
Blue Fruit is grown for its nose. Most plants smell of sweet berry with vanilla at the front and a light honey note behind, gentle rather than sharp. That makes it easier to keep low-profile than a fuel or skunk strain, though a carbon filter is still wise late in flower. Some plants pick up blue and purple tones in the leaves as nights get cooler.
Taller than it looks on paper
An 80% indica usually stays short, but the label lists Blue Fruit as tall, 150 cm and up. Plan for a big plant. Indoors, top it once or twice, switch to 12/12 a little earlier than you would for a compact indica, and set up a screen or ties before the stretch.

How to grow Blue Fruit
Flowering takes 8-10 weeks. The buds are dense and resinous, so strip the lower growth before the flip and keep a fan running through the canopy late in bloom. Feed steadily through mid-flower and cut the nutrients back toward the end so the plant fades and the berry smell sharpens.
Outdoors, give it room and staking. A long, sunny season can bring up to 650 g from one plant, ripening in early to mid October in southern Canada.
