All about the citrus
Tangerine earns its name in the garden. From mid-flower the plants give off sweet orange and tangerine peel, and a dried bud adds honey and a soft tropical note, closer to mango than to sour lemon. The citrus holds through a slow cure, which is not true of every fruit strain.
Growing an autoflower for flavour
Because it flowers on age, Tangerine Auto needs no change in light. Indoors, most growers run 18/6 from seed to harvest; 20/4 adds a little growth at the cost of power. Outdoors it can go out once nights are reliably mild and will flower through the long days of summer.
Flavour is made at the end. Keep the room cooler in the last weeks of flower, avoid heavy feeding near harvest, and dry the buds slowly in the dark. Heat and a fast dry strip the citrus first.

How to grow Tangerine Auto
Start the seed in the container it will finish in. Autoflowers have no time to recover from a transplant or a hard top, so stick to gentle low-stress training: bend the main stem early and tie it so the side shoots grow up level with it.
Judge harvest by the trichomes rather than the calendar, and cut when most have turned milky with a few amber heads. Outdoors the label gives about 400 g per plant.

Big Bear –
The strain is a bit more trying than my blueberry autos. Had two earlier attempts at popping go south. Seeds popped but failed to thrive. The third came through and after a ruff start has come on strong. Will report back when it flowers.
