About Five Alive Strain
Grape Pie x Bubblegum x Orange Juice all feed into Five Alive, and each parent is traceable in the finished flower. That pedigree shows up in the jar as a grape-forward sweetness sitting on top of a clear lemon-grapefruit citrus note, and the smoke carries the same profile through to the exhale rather than flattening out. It is one of the more distinctive fruit-and-citrus terpene combinations we stock, and it holds its aroma well through a slow cure.
The chemistry sits at roughly 26% THC with about 0.8% CBD, on a sativa-leaning frame of around 85% sativa to 15% indica. The character is energetic and cerebral, with enough indica in the background to keep the edges soft. Many growers report a fast onset and a long, clear-headed session that suits daytime use and creative work more than an early night.
Growing Five Alive Autoflower Seeds in Canada
Because this is an autoflowering line, the plants run on age rather than on a light schedule. There is no 12/12 flip to manage and no need to darken a tent on a timer —seedlings move into flower on their own clock and finish roughly eight to eleven weeks from germination. For Canadian growers that is the whole point: a June start in Manitoba or Saskatchewan is still comfortably harvested before the first hard frost, and growers south of that line often stagger two runs across a single summer.
- Height: roughly 47–59 inches (120–150 cm), tall for an auto but still manageable on a balcony or in a small greenhouse
- Structure: slim sativa frame with elongated, cone-shaped, resin-heavy flowers
- Yield: around 550–600 g/m² under good light
- Training: tolerates high-stress work, though timing matters more on an auto, keep it early
Autos give you a narrow training window, so any topping or LST should happen in the first two or three weeks while vegetative growth is still active. A SCROG screen works if you set it early and simply tuck growth through it rather than trying to force a recovery later. In damp BC or Ontario autumns, watch humidity around the dense colas and keep air moving under the canopy to head off mould.
What to Expect
A forgiving plant with an unusually loud citrus-grape nose, a short calendar, and a genuinely strong finished product. Beginners do well with it because the seed-to-harvest window leaves less time for a small mistake to compound. Five Alive autoflower seeds ship across Canada in discreet packaging.
