About 24k Gold
Tangie brings the citrus and Kosher Kush brings the depth. Together they made 24k Gold, an F1 hybrid that throws three distinct phenotypes and one very consistent smell: fresh citrus and orange zest, with pine and a trace of musk sitting underneath if you go looking for it. The flowers run medium to large, sometimes spherical and sometimes tapered into a spade shape depending on the pheno, but always packed into a dense Indica-style structure. Leaves come in pale greenish-yellow, accented with rust-coloured pistils and glazed inside and out with trichomes.
The smoke is thick and lung-expanding whether you run it in a pipe or a joint, and it burns exceptionally smooth. Flavour leads fruity and finishes with a peppery kick on the exhale, a combination some people read as slightly bitter. At 24% THC and under 2% CBD, the psychoactive side is front and centre. Genetics sit at 60% Indica to 40% Sativa, which gives it mild sedative weight without shutting the day down. Many growers report an uplifting, euphoric feeling that starts at the back and works down through the body, running up to three hours.
Growing 24k Gold Autoflower Seeds
The autoflowering version removes the light-schedule question entirely. These plants bloom on age rather than photoperiod, so there is no 12/12 flip to schedule and no light-leak paranoia. They do not demand constant attention either, which makes this a reasonable pick if you want a straightforward grow rather than a project. Mould and mildew resistance is solid, another thing off the worry list.
One caveat: 24k Gold can stretch taller than the average auto, so a very short tent may become a problem mid-bloom. Measure your headroom before you start, and use gentle low-stress training early rather than topping, since an autoflower cannot afford recovery time. It grows well indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse, so the setup is genuinely up to you. The fixed short cycle also means you can stagger plantings and take more than one harvest across a season instead of banking everything on a single autumn crop.
What to Expect
- Seed to harvest: 60 to 70 days depending on conditions
- Height: taller than most autos, allow headroom
- Indoor yield: around 450 g/m2
- Outdoor yield: up to 600 g per plant
- Difficulty: easy, suitable for beginners and veterans alike
Keep the feed steady through the short bloom window and this one produces high-quality flowers quickly, without the mould headaches that dense buds often invite.
