the outside of the box
Biscotti comes from the same circle of West Coast dessert strains as Gelato and Girl Scout Cookies. Its parents are Gelato #25, Girl Scout Cookies and Sour Florida OG. The first two bring the sweet bakery smell and the dense, frosty bud. Sour Florida OG adds a sour, fuel-tinged edge that keeps it from being one-note.
Cookie, spice and diesel
Broken open, a Biscotti bud smells like baked cookie dough with a little cinnamon-like spice. Under that sits a faint diesel note from the OG side. The flavour of the cured flower follows the smell, sweet first and gassy at the end.

How to grow Biscotti
An 80% indica that grows tall is unusual, and the strain label lists Biscotti at 150 cm and up. Leave room for it. Veg it shorter than you think you need, then flip to 12/12, because it adds height in the first weeks of flower.
Top once or twice and spread the branches under a net so the light reaches every site. The buds stack densely, so clean up the lower third of the plant before flowering and run a fan through the canopy. In cooler rooms the buds may take on purple tints near harvest.
The flowering stage takes 8 to 9 weeks, quick for a plant of this size. Outdoors in full sun, it gives about 500 g per plant, and an indoor or greenhouse finish is the safer choice in most of Canada.
