Girl Scout Cookies Feminized Seeds

Girl Scout Cookies, usually shortened to GSC, came out of California and went on to parent a whole family of dessert strains. It is a cross of OG Kush and Durban Poison: OG Kush gives the structure and the fuel underneath, Durban Poison adds sweetness and a lot of resin. The label gives the split as 60% indica to 40% sativa, and THC as 20%.

These seeds are feminized, and the plants are photoperiod.

Sweet dough and earth

A ripe GSC plant smells sweet and doughy, like baked cookies, over earth and a little fuel. Many cuts carry a minty or cherry-like edge. The buds often show purple in the calyxes, bright orange hairs and a thick layer of frost, and they hold their shape well through drying.

Getting the most from a short plant

The label puts GSC at 60-100 cm, so height will not be your problem. Yield per plant is the thing to work on. Give it a longer veg than you would a tall strain, top it once or twice and spread the branches under a screen so every top gets full light. Small plants like this do well packed a little closer together in a tent.

Flowering is quick, 7-8 weeks. Keep feeding moderate and steady; OG-family plants dislike heavy nitrogen late in bloom. The buds are dense, so keep air moving across the tops toward the end.

Outdoors in Canada

A 7-8 week bloom suits Canadian seasons well. Outdoors GSC usually ripens from late September into early October in the south, before the heavy autumn rain. A sunny bed or a large pot can produce up to 600 g per plant.
