White Widow has been grown and crossed for decades, and plenty of cuts have been kept along the way. The strain label describes this one as a White Widow phenotype, a Hawaiian cut that was kept as a clone before it was released as seed. What sets it apart is a sweeter, more tropical note over the classic earthy, skunky Widow smell.

Small plants, heavy frost
The label lists 98 Aloha White Widow as short, 60-100 cm, which makes it one of the easier plants on the site to fit in a low tent or a closet. It grows compact and bushy, with tight internodes and buds that stack close along each branch. By the end of flower the whole top of the plant turns white with resin, which is where the Widow name came from in the first place.
That resin is why growers who make hash keep Widow cuts around. Trim carefully, save the sugar leaves and keep the trim cold if you plan to press or wash it.
Growing notes
Short plants do not need much training. A single topping in veg, or simply tying the outer branches down, evens the canopy. Because the buds form tightly, keep a fan moving air through the plant and lower the humidity in late flower; dense Widow buds can hold moisture in their cores.
Outdoors it is easy to tuck away in a garden bed or a large pot, where a plant can reach 500 g.
