So after harvest and curing this bud is choice. Grew two plants and the buds were so different. One had light blueish green buds that were plump with a fruity taste and smell. The other had buds that were real dark green with a hint of blue with bright red hairs. Completely caked with resin. The longer they cure the better they smell and taste. This is my new go to bud.

Blackberry on an OG frame
The Blackberry side gives 5th Element its dark fruit. All Spark OG gives it the OG Kush structure: a thick main stem, fairly short branches and buds that build into fat, resin-heavy colas. On paper it reads like a dessert strain, but in the garden it grows like an OG.
What growers notice first is the smell: pine and damp earth from the OG side, a fruity sweetness from Blackberry, and a citrus note that sharpens near harvest.
Harvest and cure
Dense OG-style buds hold moisture, so dry them slowly in a dark room with gentle airflow and a moderate temperature. A slow dry keeps the berry note that a fast dry tends to strip, leaving mostly pine.
Once the stems snap rather than bend, jar the buds and open the jars daily for the first week or two. The fruit comes forward again as the cure settles.

How to grow 5th Element
This is a feminized photoperiod, so you decide when it flowers. Veg it under 18 hours of light, top it once to break the single main cola into several, and switch to 12/12 when the canopy is even. OG genetics stretch a fair amount in the first weeks of bloom, so leave room above the tops.
The label gives 8 to 10 weeks of bloom and around 350 g per plant outdoors. OG lines like a steady, moderate feed and dislike big swings in pH, so check your runoff now and then rather than pushing nutrients.
