Fuel from one side, coffee from the other
Chemdawg is where the sharp, diesel-and-pepper smell comes from. Pre-98 Bubba Kush, the old Bubba cut kept alive since the late nineties, adds a darker layer of roasted coffee, cocoa and earth. Together they land on a spicy, herbal fuel note with a sweet undertone that comes out as the flowers cure.
The name is a nod to 303, the area code for Denver and the Colorado Front Range, where the cross was made.
A compact plant that fills sideways
The label lists 303 OG as short, 60 to 100 cm, and it grows wide rather than tall. Bubba Kush gives it thick stems, broad leaves and close nodes, and it builds a bushy shape with many side branches. That suits a low-ceiling tent or a balcony where height is the limit.
Because it stays short, training is about spreading it out rather than holding it down. Top it once or twice and pull the branches out to the sides, and the plant becomes a flat table of tops instead of one cola. Strip the small shoots underneath; they will not make useful flowers under a short canopy.

How to grow 303 OG
Keep it under 18 hours of light in veg and flip to 12/12 when the plant is about two-thirds of the size you want, since it stretches little. Flowering takes 8 to 10 weeks. The dense flowers need dry air late in bloom, so lower the humidity over the last few weeks and keep a fan across the canopy.
Outdoors it finishes in early to mid October in southern Canada, which is late for a damp coastal autumn, so a greenhouse or covered patio is the safer plan there. In a sunny spot, the label puts the outdoor return around 350 g per plant.
