24K Gold Feminized Seeds

24K Gold joins two very different parents. Tangie brings the bright tangerine and orange-zest nose it is known for, and Kosher Kush brings weight: earthy, musky and dense. The strain label lists the split as 60% indica and 40% sativa, and THC at 24%.

The seeds are feminized and photoperiod: you set the length of veg, and the plants bloom for 8-10 weeks after the switch to 12/12.

Expect some variation from plant to plant, which is normal for a cross of two distinct lines. Tangie-leaning plants grow taller and looser, with a louder citrus smell. Kush-leaning plants stay stockier, pack their buds tighter and smell more of pine and musk. Either way the flowers frost heavily, and the leaves often fade toward yellow and rust late in bloom, which suits the name.

Managing the height

The label lists 24K Gold as tall, 150 cm and up. Indoors that means planning ahead: flip to 12/12 earlier than you would for a compact indica, top once or twice in veg and run a screen so the stretch spreads sideways. Outdoors, stake the main branches before the buds get heavy, especially in a windy yard.

Outdoor timing in Canada

With an 8-10 week bloom, 24K Gold usually ripens outdoors around early to mid October in southern Ontario and on the BC coast. That is workable in a dry autumn. On the Prairies the season is tight, so a greenhouse or an indoor run is the safer plan. A plant grown outside for the whole season can give up to 600 g.
