XJ-13 is what happens when two sativa-leaning favourites meet. Jack Herer brings the pine and the spice, and G13 Haze brings the citrus and a long, incense-like haze finish. What growers notice first about XJ-13 feminized seeds is the timing: for a haze cross, 8 to 9 weeks of flowering is quick.
Buds, resin and aroma
The flowers are medium-dense spears with a bright lime colour and a good coat of resin. Rubbed between the fingers they smell of sweet lemon and pine sap. Cured, the citrus softens and the haze spice comes forward. The strain label lists citrus, pine and sweet, and that is a fair summary.

How to grow XJ-13
The label rates it intermediate, mostly because of the stretch. Expect the plant to grow noticeably taller in the first weeks after the flip. It finishes in the medium range, 100 to 150 cm, if you switch the lights at about half that height.
Top once or twice and spread the branches under a trellis. Sativa-leaning plants usually want less food than kush types, so start nutrients at a lower strength and raise them only if the leaves pale. Keep the room bright and dry in the final weeks.
Expect about 500 g/m2 indoors and up to 600 g per plant outdoors. Outside it needs a season that runs into early fall, so a greenhouse helps in most of Canada.
