Critical Mass, rebalanced
Critical Mass is an Afghani crossed with Skunk #1, selected above all for how much flower a single plant can carry. This CBD version keeps that build. The plant is indica-dominant, about 80% indica, with a thick main stem, short internodes and side branches that fill out fast in the first weeks of bloom.
What changes is the chemistry. The label lists 7% THC alongside a moderate CBD level, so you get the Critical Mass plant with a much lower THC figure than the original.
Support the colas
The name is a warning as much as a boast. In the last weeks the colas get heavy enough to bend or snap side branches, especially outdoors after rain. Put in stakes, a trellis net or plant yoyos before the buds bulk up, not after a branch has folded.
Heavy buds also hold water, and bud rot is the main risk with this strain. Keep humidity low in late flower, thin the inner leaves and make sure air moves through the canopy. Outdoors, a spot with morning sun and a breeze dries the plant fastest after dew or rain.

How to grow Critical Mass CBD
The label rates it easy, and it is: vigorous, forgiving of feeding mistakes and quick to recover. Veg under 18 hours of light, switch to 12/12 once the plant has filled about half its space, and plan on 8 to 9 weeks of bloom.
Indoors the label gives 500 to 600 g/m2. Outdoors it can reach 700 to 1000 g per plant in a full season with a big root zone. The aroma is earthy, pungent and sweet, and it gets loud in late flower, so run a carbon filter.
