Slurricane brings together two of the best-known dessert strains of recent years. The strain label lists it as Do-Si-Dos crossed with Purple Punch, 60% indica and 40% sativa, with THC at 24%. Purple Punch supplies the grape and the colour; Do-Si-Dos adds a heavy coat of resin and an earthier, sharper side.
These are feminized photoperiod seeds. You choose when they flower by changing the light to 12/12.
Grape first, then the sharp notes
Early in flower the smell is sweet grape and mixed berries. As the plant ripens, citrus and pine come through, with an earthy, slightly bitter base from the Do-Si-Dos side. Many plants turn purple in the sugar leaves and calyxes over the final weeks, especially when the nights are cooler than the days.

How to grow Slurricane
Slurricane grows to medium height, 100-150 cm on the label, with a sturdy, branching frame. Top it in veg, once or twice, and spread the branches so each top sits at the same height. It stretches moderately after the flip, so give it a little headroom.
Flowering takes 8-10 weeks. The buds are thick with resin and fairly dense, so thin the lower growth before flowering and keep air moving through the canopy late in bloom. Feed steadily through mid-flower and taper at the end.
Outdoors in southern Canada, an 8-10 week bloom usually ripens in early to mid October, and cooler autumn nights help the purple. Left in the ground all season, one plant may give 500 g.
