Permanent Marker Feminized Seeds
Permanent Marker comes from JBeezy at Seed Junky Genetics, the breeder behind Wedding Cake, and it was brought to market with the Los Angeles brand Doja. The cross stacks Biscotti and Sherb BX1, then adds Jealousy on top. The result has a nose people remember: a chemical, inky smell that really does remind people of an uncapped marker.
Effects & flavour
Under the marker ink you get floral, soapy notes, sweet candy and a gassy funk, with pepper and diesel on the exhale. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene lead the terpene profile. The high starts bright and euphoric, often creative and talkative, and the indica side shows up later as a heavy, relaxed body. It is strong, so newer consumers should go slow.
Growing Permanent Marker
Plants grow bushy and fairly compact, staying around 90 to 120 cm indoors, with dense, resin-coated buds. Flowering takes 8 to 10 weeks. Outdoors it is harvested in October, so in Canada it does best indoors or in a greenhouse unless you grow in a mild coastal area.
- Top early and run a screen or low-stress training to spread the bushy canopy.
- Strip the lower third of the plant before flower so the energy goes to the top sites.
- Keep late-flower humidity around 40-45% and run a carbon filter; the smell is loud.
- Let it run the full window. The marker-ink terpenes build in the final weeks of flower.
What to expect
Expect a medium plant, around 26% THC, and roughly 450 g per plant outdoors in good conditions. Indoors, a well-lit canopy turns out dense, sticky colas with a heavy trichome layer that also suits hash making. Every pack ships in discreet packaging and is covered by our 90% germination guarantee.
Why growers pick it
Few strains have a nose this distinctive. Growers pick Permanent Marker for the potency, the resin and a smell nobody forgets once the jar is open.
