Black Jack is a cross of Black Domina and Jack Herer, two very different plants. Black Domina is a dark, heavy indica with a hashy, earthy smell. Jack Herer is a famous sativa-leaning hybrid with pine and spice. The strain label lists the result as an even split, 50% indica and 50% sativa, with THC at 23%.
These seeds are feminized, and the plants are photoperiod: they bloom after you change the light to 12/12.
Pine, spice and wood
The smell is the clearest sign of both parents. Jack Herer brings pine and a peppery spice; Black Domina adds a woody, almost sandalwood depth and some hash. A sweet, floral note sits on top in many plants, especially after curing. It is a strong smell late in flower, so plan for a carbon filter indoors.

How to grow Black Jack
With a balanced split, expect some variation. Some plants lean to the indica side, compact with tight, dark buds; others grow taller and more open like Jack Herer. Top once in veg and train to an even canopy, and give the taller plants a little more room or an earlier flip.
Feed moderately and keep an eye on the tighter, indica-leaning buds in the last weeks, where moisture can collect. A fan across the canopy and lower humidity late in flower keep them clean. Judge ripeness from the trichomes, not the date.
Outdoors, a long and sunny season can produce up to 650 g per plant. In Canada that means a warm, sheltered spot or a greenhouse to protect the colas from autumn rain.
